Factory Audit Services in China

See how the factory works before your order depends on it. Assess the facility, production approach and quality controls against your project needs.

Visit with a purchasing question

An audit is most useful when it answers a specific decision: can this site handle the product, volume and process you need? We agree the visit scope before arranging access. The checklist reflects your product rather than treating every factory as the same.

What we observe onsite

The agreed assessment can cover equipment, production flow, workforce arrangements, incoming-material checks, work instructions and quality records. We ask which processes are outsourced and how nonconforming products are handled. Observations relate to the areas and records made available during the visit.

A factory audit is not a product inspection

An audit examines the facility and its processes. A product inspection examines goods against an agreed specification and inspection plan. A capable-looking factory can still make a poor batch, so the two services support different buying decisions.

Turn findings into next steps

The report records observations, supporting evidence and gaps that affect the order. You can use it to request corrective actions, refine the inspection plan or compare another manufacturer. An audit is not a certification or a promise of future production quality.

What to send us

  • Factory name, address and contact
  • Product specification and intended order volume
  • Critical production and quality requirements
  • Specific concerns and preferred visit window

What you receive

  • Findings from the agreed areas and records
  • Documented gaps and clarification requests
  • Practical follow-up priorities before the order

How we manage the work

  1. Agree the audit scope

Define the product risks and what access is needed.

  2. Assess the site

Review the agreed processes, available records and facility conditions.

  3. Review next actions

Discuss findings and decide what must be resolved before buying.

Questions before you start

Can a factory refuse access to parts of the site?

Yes. Access limitations are recorded. We cannot report an unvisited area as checked, and you can consider the limitation when deciding whether to proceed.

Does an audit replace certification?

No. It is an assessment against the agreed scope, not accredited certification or a guarantee that every standard has been met.

When should I arrange the visit?

Usually before a substantial order or when qualifying a new manufacturer. The timing depends on access, production activity and the questions you need answered.
