China Supplier Verification & Background Checks

Know who you are buying from. Check the supplier's business identity and documents before you commit to samples, a deposit or an order.

Connect the company name to the offer

Websites, sales contacts, invoices and business documents may use different names. We compare the details provided, ask the supplier to explain differences and identify the company represented in the quotation. Unexplained identity changes need attention before payment.

What a supplier check can cover

An agreed check can review registration information, stated business activities, the contact address and supplied documentation. If the seller claims to manufacture the product, we ask for supporting facility and capability information. We distinguish documents received from information independently checked.

A useful report includes what is missing

You receive the sources reviewed, the findings and the points still unresolved. A certificate image without an identifiable issuer, scope or validity period is a claim to investigate. We do not turn an incomplete response into a clean bill of health.

Know the limits of a desk check

Verification focuses on identity and initial screening. It does not establish the quality of an unmade production batch or replace an onsite factory audit. For a larger commitment, due diligence can examine wider commercial and operational questions.

What to send us

  • Supplier's full Chinese and English company names, if available
  • Website, address and contact details

  • Your product and the decision you need to make

What you receive

  • Identity and document findings with sources noted
  • Differences and missing information clearly identified
  • Suggested next checks before committing

How we manage the work

  1. Set the questions

Agree which company and documents need checking.

  2. Review the evidence

Compare available records and ask the supplier to clarify gaps.

  3. Report the findings

Separate confirmed information, supplier statements and unresolved issues.

Questions before you start

Does verification mean a supplier is risk-free?

No. It checks defined information at a point in time. Product quality, future delivery and commercial performance require their own controls.

Can you check a supplier found on Alibaba or social media?

Yes. Send the seller's details and quotation. A platform profile is a starting point, not a substitute for checking the underlying business.

Is a factory visit included?

Only if it is agreed in the scope. A document check and an onsite factory assessment answer different questions.
